New Roadside Sign for Shenendehowa United Methodist
Electronic Sign Installed!!
In early November our mason, Michael Natale, completed removal of the 50 year old top cap on the sign pedestal. He then poured a new cap that will last many years (50+?). Originally we had planned to just touch up the old cap with some concrete patches, but after more study, that plan was scrapped. The new cap added some cot to the project, but it was within the contingency. Also, we ar pleased that some un-pledged gifts have been received, allowing us to cover the extra $1,900 in expenses and complete the project without compromises.
Steve Thayer was a big help in getting Ethernet wiring in place so we can update the sign from the convenience of the church office. Steve also helped us get the necessary electrical wiring in place to accommodate the manufacturer's power specs. At this time our new sign has been delivered and is operational. We thank everyone who helped us get to this point!!
